July 2024 It’s hard to believe that it’s almost the middle of July 2024.
It seems like yesterday that I was getting ready for the Cordillera International Film Festival 2023 in Reno, NV. We were excited to receive a finalist award for Payback in Manila. Then in December, I took a trip down to Sherman Oaks to receive an honorable mention (runner-up) for best action /adventure for Brothers Blood.
In June of this year, I traveled once again to Los Angeles for Brothers Blood. We received the Award of Excellence for best screenplay in Palos Verde. A team of actors read the first 20 pages in front of a live audience. Then a week later I went to Glendale near LA for our Fantasy Sci/Fy screenplay. I’m excited to say that we won Grand Jury Finalist. This is my own creation based on an idea that I came up with about Vortex’s and ancient petroglyphs. I could not of made all of this happen without my team, Mel Hyde, Ruben Maria Soriquez and CV Herst. ( Brothers Blood).
