C V Herst is an award-winning writer. In (2007) and (2008) he won the Creative Screenwriters magazine AAA contest. He was also the first place winner for the (2009) Houston Gold Remi Award, 2nd place, Teleplay category Houston Worldfest International Film Festival, (2009) Finalist Red Inkworks Screenplay contest 2008/09 Semifinalist PAGE International (2009), Scriptapalooza TV and Film contests (2008), Quarterfinalist PAGE awards Austin Film Festival, Writers Digest. With three films already produced “ Dearly Departed,” “Restraint” and the multi award wining,“The Maestro”, with 20 feature screenplays under his belt, he splits his time between the US and Germany working as a research scientist in Cancer Biology, HIV research, and Autoimmune research and has several published journals on genetic disorders.
